Folkestone Documentary Festival
The 5th edition of Folkestone Documentary Festival takes place from 22nd to 26th October and opens with Blue Has No Borders, an open-hearted film made in and about Folkestone that genuinely bridges divisions and was warmly received at its premiere in competition at Sheffield Doc Fest.
This year features a record seven premieres, including the UK premiere of new features Predators (Sundance 2025) and Agatha’s Almanac (CPH Dox 2025)
Ramsgate Community Cinema
Kent Film Foundation are managing the new Ramsgate Community Cinema, set up entirely by resident/volunteers who would like to see a cinema in the town. The project is over seen by the management team, the professional youth film mentors and trustees of the foundation, many of whom are professional filmmakers, exhibitors and distributors.
