Sadie Lee (Private View), queer lesbian artist, the unique and challenging portrait painter - a thinker - an educator - a musician - a DJ - a wit and a raconteur. She is the interrogator of the often obscure history of Queer Feminist & Lesbian Art and those artists who worked in the shadow of their male counterparts.
These fascinating and extraordinary women will be laid bare by Sadie, who will reveal the life behind each artist through an exploration of their work, their relationship to gender and sexuality, their lovers, their ‘wives’, their intrigues and perversions.
Artists included are Rosa Bonheur, Claude Cajun, Sigrid Blomberg, Romaine Brooks, "Marlow" Moss, Gluck and Tamara de Lempicka.
